Winter Solstice Fashion : Staying warm in style!

Today is the Winter Solstice in other words the shortest day of the year and the first day of winter!! So why not fill you with a dose of winter fashion tips today!
My Favorite thing to do right now is mix up leather with sweaters in the same color! The color maroon is a popular color this winter and finding accessories and styles in this color is a must this winter. The Avenue’s color block Ruana’s (Fancy name for Poncho) helps me achieve that perfect winter look while keeping me warm and fashionable and of course came in the maroon color I love so much. The Ruana also doubles as a jacket for those crispy cold days and can be paired with sweater and jeans, tights, or a dress.

Last but not least, finish off your look with embellished shoes, purses, and accessories! The studded boots from Avenue work perfect to achieve that edgy fashion forward look. Of course I paired it with a matching studded purse from TJ Maxx, it’s all about the small details!
