LS 1426 Curves Swim Week in South Florida : The Runway Reflection : 3 of 3 : Feature 1 of 3

As another #1426 fashion week quickly approaches we want to reflect on the recent show from late June in South Florida. This blog will feature the first 3 of 10 designers from the recent runway show with additional blogs to follow.  The #1426 team began to converge on Sunny South Florida for #LS1426 curves swim week.  The kickoff began with a day cruise to the Bahamas, followed by an informative model workshop, and the big finale fashion show on Sunday June 26, 2016.  The models and designers brought their one of a kind pieces and left patrons wanting more.  The models worked those pieces to perfection and brought life to the runway.  LS 1426 is a platform one can be proud to be a part of in more ways than one! From their professionalism to the attention to detail, this is a show you do not want to miss!

This show began as many others do, with a practice before the event and final fittings in the designers clothing before the show began. As hair and makeup came alive, the transformation began. The behind the scenes is always full of hustle and bustle with everyone running around preparing for their next scene or helping another designer get their models ready for the next walk. The team works hard and together they make magic happen on the runway presenting a showcase often imitated but never duplicated.  Team #1426 did not come to South Florida to play, they came to slay! You haven’t heard the last either, because next year 2017 #LS1426 is coming back to Florida!

Featured Designers:

Beach Bling Swimwear

The first designer is the infamous Beach Bling Swimwear by Alton Mcullough-King with his beautiful resort worthy swimwear and cover up pieces. The jewelry complimenting the swimwear are hand designed pieces by Leonard Wise.  Mr. King always has a surprise up his sleeve and this show was no exception as one of his pieces was a true plus size creation made with none other than sheer material with a blossoming rose pattern cover up and rose patterned swim bottoms against a soft black.  His other creations include fringe that seems to sway to the beat of the walk, and the other cover ups swayed with the soft breeze as the models.  His swimsuits are no exception with racy designs, patterns, and materials.  Beach Bling Swimwear keeps us wanting more! And on top of it all, we also had the opportunity to share in his birthday celebrations in South Florida! What better way to end the week than with a pool party birthday celebration! Thank you once again Mr. King for Wowing us!  Also check out the previous blog on Beach Bling Swimwear!!!
